Give thanks in all circumstances. : Downloaded from http://god21.net [Message] Pastor Jung Myeong Seok [Scriptures] 1 Thessalonians 5: 15-18 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Today’s message title is ‘Give thanks in all circumstances.” You must be thankful. When it comes to thanksgiving, you should know, then you will be thankful. If you don’t know, you cannot be thankful. People who say that there is nothing for them to be thankful for are people who are ignorant about life, about Heaven, about their neighbours and about people. Because they do not know, they are not thankful. Often, when people are not thankful, they start complaining and therefore experience a slump. The most dangerous times in life are when people face difficulties that cause them to fall into a slump and to give up on themselves. Thanksgiving can eliminate all of these problems. When people are thankful and grateful, they feel hopeful, feel the desire to work and want to run again. Therefore, people should always say, “Thank you very much, God!” You should always give thanks. Don’t be thankful only when you are moved or only when you are happy. Whether it is raining or snowing for 24 hours, and whether you face difficulties or tribulations, you should always be thankful. Most of the time, people who became successful were always thankful and grateful for their environment, for their existence and even for having nature. People who were thankful under any circumstances became successful in life. As written in Psalms 100, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise.” Everyone, give thanks to God in all circumstances. I pray for you to live a life filled with happiness through always being thankful and grateful in the Holy Spirit. From Pastor Jung Myeong Seok’s Wednesday message summary on August 26, 2015
