The winning teams of each foreign country entered Korea’s competition; as for the teams in Korea, regional preliminary rounds were mandatory to enter the competition.
The Christian Gospel Mission held its 2012 country-wide club soccer competition from the 13th of last month, which included the winning teams from foreign countries.
The competition took place simultaneously on Nam-il Soccer Field, Kyung-Chun Sports Park, and Un-Ju Sports Park. A total of 20 teams , 400 players including 70 foreign members, entered the competition.
This soccer club was composed of various players from teens to people in their 50’s. Anyone who was willing to train their mind and body could join the club.
This soccer club competition is an annual event that takes place on a large scale as an amateur soccer competition.
In 1999, ‘The First World Peace Soccer Competition’ began in Paris and has continued in Italy, Germany, England, Taiwan, the US, Canada, Spain, and etc.
