God and the Holy Son likened ‘sins’ to the filth on the body and said,
“Just as you wash off the filth, repent of your sins and make yourself clean.”
Just as you wash the filth off your body regularly,
you must repent of your sins regularly.
If you do not repent, you will not be able to receive God’s blessings
because of that sin.
Instead, you will be punished for the sin.
Repentance is the way to receive blessings and the way to live.
