The width of a railroad track is the same on both sides.

However, when seen from a distance, the tracks in front look narrower.

It looks that way because of the principle of perspective.

Just as they look different because of perspective depending on the distance,

when a person is looking at something and judging/deciding,

optical illusions do occur.

That is why you must do well/carefully when you are thinking about

and judging/deciding about something the first time.

There are cases where even if one looks like it will work out

and the other looks like it will not work out, things turn out differently

when you are actually doing it.

If you calculate it, the answer will come out.
