Scriptures:
Matthew 25:1-13
"At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish and five were wise. The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps. The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
"At midnight the cry rang out: 'Here's the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!'
"Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps. The foolish ones said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.'
" 'No,' they replied, 'there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.'
"But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
"Later the others also came. 'Lord, Lord,' they said, 'open the door for us!'
"But he replied, 'Truly I tell you, I don't know you.'
"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
If, as a person is living his life, he thinks only 'of what he likes' because that is what is urgent for the moment, and makes only that 'one thing' his purpose and takes action on it,‘that problem' would be solved, but 'other problems' would occur as a result of that, that person would incur loss, go through hardships, get hurt, or even die. Such occurrences are too many to count.
Everyone, I want you to think about your past days. While walking fast thinking of only one thing, getting to the destination, people get into car accidents, become critically injured in an instant, and so become crippled or even die at the scene. Furthermore, thinking of only one thing, closing the door, people get seriously hurt while closing the door with their fingers in the way, and while taking action thinking of only one thing, completing the building quickly, people do faulty construction, so the building collapses and people die.
In this way, if you take action thinking of only one thing, that problem will be solved but it will cause other problems, from small problems to big ones, and so you will go through pain, have accidents, even die, and suffer great harm.
The same is true when you are looking at the Bible. If you interpret the Bible thinking of only 'one thing', either physically or spiritually, it will be a loss for the 'other thing'. If you interpret it only physically, it will be a loss for the spirit, and if you interpret it only spiritually, it will be a loss for the body. A person has both a body and a spirit. Therefore, you must always believe and take action thinking about 'two things' so that neither your body nor your spirit will incur losses but will do well and prosper.
The law of God, who is an absolute being, is that there be two sides, "the main party and the counterpart". No matter what you do, there is not just 'one side' but there are 'both sides'. Therefore, you must always take action looking at both sides, the 'front and back', 'yin and yang', 'good and evil'. When dealing with people also, do not deal with them while looking at only 'one thing, their positive attributes', but you should look at their 'positives and negatives' so that you will not make mistakes.
Do not always regret after you have caused problems, after problems have occurred, or after you have suffered harm. Instead, before taking action on what you have planned, you should make sure and check to see whether problems will occur as a result of doing that or not. Doing it that way is faster, you will have satisfaction once you have done the work, and you will gain as a result of that.
You absolutely must not take action while looking at only the 'one thing you thought'. You must take action while looking also at 'other things of which you did not think'.
Now that you have heard today's Word, you must not take action thinking of only one thing just because doing so is pleasant for now, but check with the Holy Son, the Lord, by praying and also study yourself and take action while thinking of other things too, so that you will do well, prosper, and receive blessings.
