Message: Pastor Jung Myeong Seok
Scriptures: Daniel 10:10-12
10) A hand touched me and set me trembling on my hands and knees.
11) He said, "Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have now been sent to you." And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.
12) Then he continued, "Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before you God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.
Hallelujah! I bid you the love of the eternal Father God and the peace of the Holy Son.
Even between two people, if there is no 'conversation,' they move apart and become distant. If it there is someone you love, but there is no love between [you and that person], you cannot remain with him/her. The same is true when it comes to God, the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Son, the Lord. Prayer is conversation with the Holy Trinity and the Lord and it is 'love.' Therefore, you must live your life always conversing, seeking, calling, and loving.
The reason one prays is that it is 'something you do in order to receive God's approval.' Notify Heaven of your situation earnestly through prayer. God will listen to it and approve if His heart is moved, and if it is appropriate. Once it is approved, that means God has permitted and commanded, therefore, angels help, the Holy Spirit inspires, and the Holy Son, the Lord, also works upon it, carries it out at each moment by mobilizing everyone who is appropriate, and thus has you be successful.
But, even if one prays, it does not always mean that 'approval' is given. When people want to gain something, they seek and call on God and the Holy Son, the Lord, they agonize over it, pray while skipping meals, and they promise that as long as God gives it to them, they will do everything God asks them to do. However, when they receive it, they forget all the promises of taking action that they made. As the Korean saying goes, 'One's attitude is different on the way to the bathroom from one's attitude when coming out of the bathroom.' One's 'heart at first' is different from 'one's heart later on.'
If God and the Holy Son, the Lord, have granted you what you prayed for, you should love God and the Holy Son, the Lord, even more, be thankful and deeply moved every day, fix your contradictions and faults, valuably use the things that [They] gave you, and ask for the things that you need as you do so.
If you want to do well at receiving God's approval when you are praying for the things you want and the things you need to do, first, you have to ask for appropriate things, second, you have to ask without deception, and, third, 'your heart when asking earnestly' should be the same as 'your heart after receiving [what you have asked for].'
"Prayer is something you do in order to receive God's approval." I hope that you will not forget this message but receive approval by praying deeply to God and the Holy Son, and once you have received what you asked for, I hope you will not have a change of heart, not forget the grace and love, but live being thankful and live loving.
