[Preacher] Pastor Jung Myeong Seok
[Scripture] Matthew 7:7-11
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds;
and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone?
Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake?
If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children,
how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
Matthew 24:13
but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
If you stop in the middle of climbing the mountain or
climb only to the place other people usually climb to,
it might be more comfortable for your feet, but you will not gain anything from the mountain.
The same is true with the mountain of prayer.
If you stop in the middle of climbing up the mountain of prayer
or climb only to the place that most people climb up to, there is nothing to gain.
Just as people climb only to the peak of the mountain
and do not go further and down the other side,
people only pray to the peak and don’t try to climb over beyond the limit to see what is there.
However, when you climb over the highest peak and go somewhere other people don’t go,
you will reach a place that is at a higher level than the peak.
In this way, when you pray more beyond the limit,
you will see and gain a higher-level world.
Prayer is work.
When you do the work of building a house, a house surely gets built.
Work gets done as much as you do the work.
If you do an inadequate job, it will be done in an inadequate way.
Therefore, do it 100%.
When you pray, many kinds of thoughts come to mind and you realize, leading you into deep prayer.
Therefore, pray earnestly to the end and take action.
