Colossians 2: 11-12
In him you were also circumcised, in the putting off of the sinful nature, not with a circumcision done by the hands of men but with the circumcision done by Christ, having been buried with him in baptism and raised with him through your faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.
Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.
John 3:3
In reply, Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again."
Isaiah 43: 19-21
See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. The wild animals honor me, the jackals and the owls, because I provide water in the desert and streams in the wasteland, to give drink to my people, my chosen, the people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.
People hesitate to throw away things they have possessed for a long time.
However, in order to buy something new,
you have to throw away the old things to be able to free up space for the new things.
If you are unable to throw away the things of the past
because of lingering attachment and hesitation,
you will lose the new things. Because you do not throw the old things away,
new things cannot come and replace the old things.
After throwing away the things of the past, you might be a little sad and miss them slightly.
Since you have used them for a long time,
it is human nature that you would still hesitate to throw away the things of the past
even though you receive new things.
However, there will be no development
if you keep your old ideas, old perspectives, old habits, old thoughts, and old things.
But if you throw away the things of the past, you will be able to receive new things.
When the season changes, the clothes change, the environment changes,
and even your thoughts change, right?
Look at the trees.
In order for a tree to receive the new world, all of its old leaves must fall.
All the leaves of the maple tree must fall in order for new sprouts to grow out in the next year.
Even a company must transform constantly with new items.
Some companies transform even within a month.
They constantly manufacture new products and use new packaging.
This is secret to success, isn’t it?
Try to bury the things of the past and change yourself.
I hope you stop doing things the way you have always done them but do things in a new way.
Then, you will feel renewed everyday, receive new strength, and gain new hope.
