[Preacher] Pastor Jung Myung Seok
[Scriptures] Proverbs 1:2-7
『2 for gaining wisdom and instruction;
for understanding words of insight;
3 for receiving instruction in prudent behavior,
doing what is right and just and fair;
4 for giving prudence to those who are simple,
knowledge and discretion to the young—
5 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance—
6 for understanding proverbs and parables,
the sayings and riddles of the wise.
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
When you look at the surface, you cannot see the work that should be done.
When you look at the inside, you can really think of and see a lot of the work that should be done.
The same is true with your life.
Look while thinking deeply and earnestly asking the Almighty God; then you will see that there is really so much work that should be done to the point you don’t even have time to eat or sleep.
When a farmer is working out in his fields and rice paddies, he sees many things that should be done because they are lined up one after the other.
When he is at home, he cannot see the work that should be done.
With the work of your life too – you cannot see the work that should be done if you get away from the place where you are working. You have to do the work you must do. Then the work will appear connected to each other and you will see the other work you should do.
If people keep doing work beyond their limits, it can be overwhelming. On the other hand, when people stop in the middle of working, it is hard to get back into it again. Therefore, you should do the work to the end but rather than overexerting yourself, you should divide up the work into manageable sizes and do it to the end.
From now on, be interested in the work that you should do and look for it.
I pray that you will gain a lot both physically and spiritually by living the life of wisdom and that you will live a blessed life.
