Pray to [God] to do something for you,
and promise Him the things you will do for Him if [He] gives it to you.
And when He gives it to you, do as you promised Him.
If you do as you promised God, ‘even greater blessings and joy’ are waiting for you.
If you do not do as you promised God, ‘misery and suffering’ are waiting for you.
