Find and pick the biggest apple on an apple tree,
then pick the second biggest apple and compare the two.
The difference is so little that it cannot be seen with your eyes.
You can know the difference only by weighing them on a scale.
This is also true with people. If you compare a person who is doing well
with a person who is not doing well,
the difference is as thin as a sheet of paper.
This is why I say that those who are not doing well should do just a little better,
because it is possible for them to do well.
