Just as every human being has a spirit and a body, no matter who you may be, spiritual work and physical work must be done as you live your life. However spiritual time and spiritual work always come first to everyone, no matter who one may be. After that physical work comes together with physical time. No matter who one may be, everyone lives 24 hours each day. For everyone, the ‘predawn time’ comes before anything else.
The most spiritual time out of all the time in one day is the ‘predawn time’. After that, you should do the physical work of eating, getting dressed, going to school, going to work, and doing housework.
In this way, only a person who does spiritual work and physical work in the right order - spiritual work first and then physical work, will achieve victory in both spiritual work and physical work every day.
In everything you do in life, if the ‘order’ changes, it will not work out. It is first, whether you do things in the right order, and, after that, how fervently you work. If all you do is work fervently, you cannot succeed. It is to work fervently while doing things in the right order. Then you will succeed.
The right order is what is reasonable. You must do things in the right order, according to reason. Then you will do well and prosper.
When writing letters also, the lines you should write first are the ‘spiritual ones’ and the lines you should write after that are the ‘physical ones’. For example, let’s say you were going to write the korean character ‘영’. You should write the ‘ㅇ’ first. If you were to write a different stroke first the letter wouldn’t be made. You should first do spiritual work at the spiritual time and do the work of the body afterwards.
It is a blessing to, as today’s Word says, do spiritual work first, achieve ‘spiritual victory’ and ‘physical victory’, and thus live a life of victory.
