[Scriptures] James 1:22-25
22 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.
23 Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says
is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror
24 and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
25 But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
You will be victorious only if you run with all your strength in everything you do
like you are running a race and only if you take action with all your heart, will, and life.
This year, you must run and work hard from the beginning.
Do your best from the start like you are running a race.
You can’t receive either the things to receive this year
or the things you will receive this January
if you don’t run, work hard and take action.
Therefore, you have to pray.
You have to pray. Then you will gain determination, you will realize,
you will receive
the Holy Spirit’s inspiration,
and you will gain things by taking action swiftly like
you would catch light.
Run toward the destination as if you are running and competing in a race.
If you run and take action, the Trinity will push and pull you along!
For the 365 days of this year, you should not forget it but always think about it.
And you have to pray earnestly. You have to prepare.
And you have to take action on the things that pertain to that.
If you do, you will seize the opportunity and gain
by discerning in an instant and taking action on the opportunity of an instant.
This year, all of you must surely take action while earnestly praying
and without forgetting the dream, promises, and the Word that God gave you.
