Revolutionary Ministries, Running Together to Fulfill The Lord’s Seventy Thousand Dream!

Houston Eagle Church campus department, Revolutionary Ministries, has begun to raise the level and reach for people in one of Texas most prestigious schools, Rice University.  As a club in the University of Houston  (UH), Revolutionary Ministries has been spreading the Word of the New History for over five years, and that is how many of the campus members have joined the church.

However, Eagle Church head leader Pastor, together with other leaders at the church had a big inspiration of spreading the Gospel and campus department beyond University of Houston, to Rice University.  To fulfill this purpose, some church leaders have been setting a condition in which they offer predawn prayer service at Rice University 3 days out of the week –Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and the campus department has invited whoever wants to join, to go out and evangelize at this university every Monday at 5PM.

Nevertheless, evangelism continues at University of Houston, and the campus members have been setting a rely evangelism condition in which at least two people go out to evangelize during the week. However, this time, a new method is being implemented. In order to approach people and find more information about them, campus members are using a survey –“Christian-Life Survey,” as they have named it, which contains key questions that help sort out people as well. After the survey is done, if the person seems interested the one doing the survey gets them to sign up to the club, and then contacts them for Bible Study. In addition to the survey, campus members have been using flyers to promote Revolutionary Ministries and Bible Study, and to explain more what they are all about.

This has been a really fun experience not only for campus members, but also for all the church, since they have been working together even more to carry out this idea: Campus and career members have been working together to design flyers, campus and high-school and junior high-school departments have gone out to evangelize on campus together, and other departments have been helping out by offering their prayers and support. It has been really a process of building church together, and of making deep stories with the Trinity, the Teacher, and each other.
