On March 3rd 2013, there was an Athletic Association Tour at Ahnsan Jushin Church gathering in east and west Kyounggi. This Ahnsan was the last Athletic Association Tour of two month long with word that was very gracious and with deep shimjung. This tour was live broadcasted to each church in the Kyounki region so people could listen to the word.
As usual, before Pastor Jung, BumSeok delivered the word, Pastor Lee, Suyoung testified about the importance of the Athletic Association. With this testimony, members who came to this tour were zealous to love the Holy Son Lord more. They also responded with passionate “Amen”s to the Lord’s word and received the Holy Son Lord in their deep heart.
Pastor Jung, BumSeok said, “My heart is comfortable because people who run Providence together as friends feel comfortable as time passes,” and opened members’ hearts and made them to listen to the word comfortably.
From this word, he corrected our bad soccer habits and thinking. He told us that it is not to play to win but to play soccer so that there is word, faith, love and the Lord. Also he told us to realize deeply about the Lord’s and Teacher’s mentality expressed through soccer.
Through this tour, we could learn more deeply the Holy Son Lord’s love through sports and the Teacher’s mentality and philosophy covered in sports. I hope that through sports, we could testify for the Holy Son Lord and fulfill the history of life with the resurrection of sports that was dead until now.
