2014: The days of glorifying God, the beginning of a beautiful new year

The days of glorifying God- initiated by pastor Jung Myeong Seok of Christian Gospel Mission- have begun. Centering on Wolmyeongdong churches all over the world gave glory to God from January 1st to January 15th, 2014.

The days of glorifying God began in 2007, with the purpose of giving glory and thanksgiving to God to begin to the year.

It has been eight years since ‘The Days of Glorifying God’ began, with Wolmyeongdong and each church [in Korea] ran their own program. During the fifteen days, 25 departments visited Wolmyeongdong and freely used the Holy Son’s House of Love, the Cultural Center, the Natural Temple, Gamram Mountain, the Prayer Hill, and other places in order to give glory to God.

Churches all over the world conducted their own praise and glory-giving events and more than any other year, they offered glory to God in a fiery way.

Due of the cold weather, driving along the roads [to Wolmyeongdong] could be dangerous, so Head Quarters [in Korea] encouraged people to give glory at their local churches. This prevented a large crowd from gathering in Wolmyeongdong only. About 4,000 people visited Wolmyeongdong giving glory to God during the fifteen days.

Visitors in Wolmyeongdong at that time received a lot of grace from the constant praises in various parts of Wolmyeongdong.
