In Wolmyeongdong, they deeply cleaned the Gazebo pond in order to get rid of the debris in the pond.
In order to provide a clean environment for the July retreat, people completely cleaned out the pollutants, such as the moss and mud that had built up over the previous year.
25 volunteers from the Busan and Jeonju regions, together with the people employed at the Wolmyeongdong Holy Land, made it sparkly clean by getting rid of moss that was on the rocks and inside the pond and by pumping any debris out of the pond.
Today, it is raining in Wolmyeongdong and the heat that has been constantly present has abated, so they have been able to work in the cool weather.
Because of the cleaning of the pond, during the July retreat, people are going to be able to cool down by swimming in it.
