Who is there
To protect me by watching me like pupils?
There is no one
Even though I search all around the world in every direction.
Who is there to protect me like flames?
Is there someone who will guard my life and everyone else’s
Night and day without sleeping or dozing?
Whether I think about it with eyes opened or closed,
Such a person does not exist in this world.
Even cavalry, arrows of war, power, and treasure
Cannot protect me.
However,
There is someone who has protected me all this time.
That is why I am alive and existing as I am.

In the valley of solitary and agony,
He protected me
At my final meeting with my enemy,
In the midst of the despair of hatred and pain,
Or in the midst of wild beasts,
In the midst of poverty, suffering, and privation,
In the midst of slander, schemes, and false charges.

I have come to be this way because of Him.
Ah, through Him, the creation of the Universe gained life.
Ah, through Him, an eternal world came to be.
Ah, through Him, this globe was created.
Ah, through Him, everyone came into existence.
Ah!
We are all His children.
