Since the moon is following clouds,
the stars also are following.
Since the sun and the moon are going away,
the night has come,
and since the stars and the moon are going away with the sun,
the day has come,
a wind has come bringing clouds,
the clouds have come bringing rain,
the cold season has come bringing a snow blizzard.
As one thinks only of oneself,
one loses neighbors,
as one looks only at the Earth,
one loses the Creator,
as one looks only at the sky,
one loses the Earth.
A person’s greed is
like the Abyss, so it cannot be satisfied during one’s lifetime,
and one’s desire is the same.
This world is just the beginning of a moment,
that world is eternal.
People’s hearts reach up to the sky
but their actions cannot escape the earth.
