Though deep into the night,
This work,
No end in sight.
If by carrying on,
Deeper still into the night,
The work at hand
May be done,
But how then can I,
Save all the lives,
Here and there on earth?
Here,
The body’s limit.
Henceforth,
Proceed through the spirit.
For faint is the body
That can do no more.
Pray,
Go forth,
Till the deep night passes.
