Matthew 13:44
1 Corinthians 15:51-56
Revelation 19:11-16
There was a watch and it was the only one in the world.
In order to buy that watch,
a person worked diligently and joyfully for three years.
He was finally able to buy the watch that he had earnestly desired,
and so he lived each day with joy and happiness.
But soon after, the joy faded and he thought,
Why am I living my life rejoicing at something like this?
And the watch gradually grew distant from his heart and he looked at it infrequently.
Before long, his smile and hope had faded away
and he lived his life accepting whatever happened.
Then one day,
he saw a person who was full of joy. The person said,
“I am looking for the most beautiful watch.
When I find one, I’m definitely going to buy it!”
After seeing that, he remembered how he used to live each day filled with joy
while saving up money to buy the watch.
In the same way, even if there are valuable things that only you possess,
you will not be able to feel or enjoy them unless you raise the level of your thoughts.
Reflect on how you are living right now.
Are you valuing the things that are the most precious to you?
