Hallelujah!
I bid you the love of the everlasting Holy Father God and the peace of the Holy Son Jesus.
When you first come to church as a newcomer, people around you first guide you, teach you, and manage you. But once you grow and mature, you come to lead your life of faith on your own. So they let you lead an independent faith.
Let’s look at this on a magnified scale. Throughout history, God carried out the Old Testament for four thousand years. Then when the time came, God sent the Holy Son to this earth, and the Holy Son began a new salvation history using Jesus of Nazareth as His body. This was <the New Testament history>.
However, the time when the New Testament history began was not when it gained its independence from the Old Testament history. Even if a new history has begun, it first has to grow and it has to be raised.
It’s just like a young life in the womb. Even though a life is formed in the womb, it has to first grow until all parts of the body are formed in the womb. Then when the time comes, it will automatically come out of the womb to the world, according to the principles of nature.
In the same way, even though the New Testament history began, it first grew in the womb of the Old Testament, resurrected, and then gained independence from the Old Testament.
After the four-thousand-year Old Testament history, God sent the Holy Son to the earth. Then He had the body of Jesus of Nazareth be conceived by the Holy Spirit, and He began the new history using that body as the body of the Holy Son. That is when the New Testament history began.
God and the Holy Son raised Jesus of Nazareth until he was thirty years old, and They had him preach the Word since then. However, that generation disbelieved him. So after he preached the gospel for three years, he died for their sins on behalf of disbelievers and all people. In this way, Jesus set the condition on their behalf by doing what that time period had to do. And three days later, he resurrected in ‘spirit.’ We say that since then <the New Testament history of resurrection> began and the New Testament history became independent from the Old Testament.
When the New Testament history began, it was a period of preparing within the Old Testament history at the servant level to start the new history, the history of life at the children level. It is considered to be a period of having an independence movement for the new history. During this time, they received various persecutions and torments from the old times, the Old Testament history.
If we look at each nation of the world, we can see that before gaining independence, they are subject to a large nation and go through various sufferings and hardships because of that nation. That’s how it was in the New Testament also. Before independence, the Old Testament history didn’t leave the New Testament history alone. During that time, the Holy Son set all of the conditions of salvation, the conditions of the time period, and the conditions of the New Testament through His body, Jesus of Nazareth. And from the time of resurrection, the New Testament history became independent from the Old Testament. From that time on, the new history was made on a full-scale.
Now, the present time, is when you are becoming independent in faith on an individual scale, on a family scale, and a worldwide scale also.
