What I Feel is Love. by 감성지기

There’s one thing I always do after dinner on Saturday. It is bathing my four year old daughter for the next day’s Sunday service “When will she grow up and be able to take a shower by herself… sigh.”
I have to catch her who tries to quickly run by my arms and bring her into the bathroom. When I begin to clean her whole body cleanly, she gets
annoyed and makes a huge fuss.

Bath-time doesn’t end very easily.
She fools around with the foam and the toys and aims the shower head everywhere.
When I finally take my baby
out—who now doesn’t want to get out of the water even after I tell her over and over again— as soon as she enters her room, she starts to run around again.

Lord~~~~

On any other day, I would have clothed her right away saying that she would catc1h a cold, but on this day, I just left her alone and just stood, watching. These days, Grace—my ‘baby’—likes to sing praises the most. “Running for Providence, chosen one chosen one~~.” She would start singing in such an excited way and only the tone of the song but nothing else- like the lyrics would be correct.  She shouts out, “I love you Lord!”

When I was singing with her after having been excited as well, all of sudden, tears flowed down my face.

Will this baby of mine remember the mother who was so happy just looking at her? Will she even have the memory? Just as I am truly happy, God must have been so happy and joyful while looking at all the parts of me! Even if I don’t remember…

God!  I will now fill every single thing with your love!

Between me and you, God…  let us make our very own beautiful memories and stories! I truly love you.
