While I was searching about ‘how to store bananas’ on the Internet, I found a funny story about bananas.
In the story, somebody had read a comment which said, ‘it is good to hang bananas on a hanger to store.’ That person did exactly what the comment said, but when he/she woke up the next morning, all the bananas had fallen on the floor.
After being rebuked by his/her mom, that person searched the Internet again and found a better idea for storing bananas.
As I was wrapping each banana in newspaper, according to the method that person had said, I giggled to myself.
‘Even at that age, people can still be rebuked by their moms.’
From the time of our childhood until now, we still get ‘rebuked by our moms for small matters and big matters.
I am used to being rebuked by my mom, so it no longer scares me, but I still want to avoid my mom’s nagging.
However, whenever we are in trouble, mom is always the first person we look for.
I once read a letter that an 80-year-old mom had written to her 50-year-old son because she was worried about his health.
In the eyes of his mother, he was just ‘an immature son,’ even though he was 50 years old.
Then how immature must we look like in God’s eyes?
I am always rebuked by God. I have become used to it, so I am no longer scared of being rebuked by Him; sometimes, I even do things sneakily, counting on His abundant love. Then if something that is even a bit difficult happens to me, I first seek God.
I can be troublesome and worrisome even for my mom and even for God.
