I didn’t do anything special for him,
but he laughs when I smile,
he wriggles and smiles when I embrace him.

I didn't take care of him much,
but he looks for me
whenever he is sick, whenever he is sleepy.

Though I didn't keep the time to feed him,
And to change his diapers,
he is so happy whenever he sees me.

I didn't do anything special for Him,
but He gives me the strength to carry on,
He walks with me on my path of life with love.

I did nothing much to help,
but He helps me
whenever I am sick and in hard times.

Though I didn't do my work on time,
though I couldn't give 100% complete love,
He looks at me and says, “I love you.’

Though I am still lacking, today,
I embrace Him with love.

I go before the Lord.
