When you were annoyed because I stung your nose,
it was you who gave me an acacia flower.
When my anger set your heart on fire,
it was you who politely offered me a tulip flower.
When I was so mean that I tormented your heart,
it was you who gave me a handful of lilac flowers
with a fragrance of love that overwhelmed me.
It was you who exempted my failures with the unending gifts of fragrant flowers..
It was you who calmed my revolt with the unending gifts of fragrant flowers.
During the time you and I lived together,
the unending flower festival showed me the meaning of love behind giving flowers.
It was the festival of love, after fulfilling the purpose of Creation,
that tickled the tip of our Creator’s nose.
It was the festival that made us dance and give off the fragrance of joy.
It was just like him who responded to the vengeful revolt of this time period by giving off the fragrance of love and forgiveness.
The Creator of love is the wise One who throughout my entire life
helped me to realize my own contradictions and mistakes
by giving His love and fragrant flowers..
It was the wise One who taught me
through the times he embraced me.
It was you and me that <resembled him>...
It was the <past that wasn’t possible>...
It was <the reality, not merely hope>...
