Although the cold wind still blows, I feel as though spring has already come.

Recently, I did not even have time go out for a short walk with my children, but on Saturday afternoon, I pulled my tired body to go out for at least a short walk.

My children and I headed to a countryside trail, where a pretty house that we want to live in and bunnies can be found. I had prepared carrots as presents for the bunnies.

While I was walking and thinking that, even though this is a remoted place where dogs guard all the houses, this place would be scary at night because of the mountain backdrop, I heard,

‘Flap flap~’

‘There’s a pheasant!!’

The two female pheasants hurriedly hid themselves.

Although we had only seen them for a moment, my children were astonished by their first encounter with pheasants and I, too, was excited, telling them how I have not seen a wild pheasant in a few decades.

All of sudden, my youngest one called out,
“Mom!! An eagle!”

It was a hawk that was in the sky with its impressive wings spread wide. It was pleasing to my eyes and heart.

‘The Lord has given us some surprises since I am talking to him on our walk. Lord, you are so fantastic ^^.’ The scene became one of wild excitement.

My children, who endlessly give commands to, ‘Buy me this, buy me that, do this for me, do that for me,’ became silent, alive, and peaceful in the midst of nature.

I am joyful and happy to have the Lord, who shows that he is close to us by expressing his loving heart and speaking through nature even today.
