In the early morning on Sundays, I chose to go to a sports field instead of a brook with my husband and my kids. Since the sports field near my house is a grass field, people--who play ball--often go and gather there, but that Sunday I was shocked by an unexpected sight.
There were some elders casually enjoying ground golf, and next to them, a group of strong young men, who were fast and in shape, were playing soccer. However, the closer I approached, the more I realized that something was off. The people who were playing soccer were elders whose average age seemed to be around 65, and most of them had gray hair.
Not even one of the elders had their backs bent, and their speed seemed to rival other young adults. Even an elder who was 75 years old was running so quickly...
I heard that he had been playing soccer for some decades.
My jaw just dropped.
"Wow, wow~~"
It seems like this is a world where nothing is impossible.
I realized deeply that I should not restrain myself within the frame of the thought: “This cannot be done because of this, and that cannot be done because of that,” and I opened up new possibilities when I thought that I will transform as much as I work consistently.
I thank the Lord for opening this Sunday morning for me with this deep realization.
