Three Cents Column by Director Bong of RGO 24! 'Although I am lacking and my writing is only worth as much as 'three cents...' I share the Sunday messages and interpret them with 'the language of the world.''
How do we celebrate the day of the Messiah?
The early churches had not celebrated Jesus’ birthday as a designated day, but they just focused on gathering every Sunday and commemorating the resurrection [of the Lord]. More than 300 years later, the Emperor Constantine enacted December 25th as Jesus’ birthday on the Roman calendar. In 350 AD, Pope Julius determined the day as Jesus’ birthday, and they have celebrated the day ever since.
After almost 400 years passed, Christ’s day was established with its historical meaning. However, not too long after this event, the meaning of Christ’s day has faded due to commercialism and Santa Clause. Now I feel sad that Bethlehem and Christmas have become commercialized, so the Holy Will of the Trinity, sending the Messiah for the world, has become only a name.
The Day of Life: peace on earth glory to Heaven
Now, let’s look at the Providence story. In this week’s message, there is a story of prophecy, Tuibeitu. Tuibeitu is a Chinese book of prophecy written by a Chaldean from the Dang dynasty. Because what he foretold was so accurate, a king worried that the hearts of the people could be in confusion. The king banned the book from being released to the public for over a thousand years. There are 60 prophecies in total. 55 of them came true according to the prophecies, and the other five are expected to be fulfilled in the future, so people give attention to the remaining prophecies.
The story of the other prophecies sound like this: when the east and the west are fighting, the Son of God will appear and bring peace on earth. After peace came to earth, only those who do not commit evil will be saved. It clearly states the prophecy of the new time’s rapture history.
We must face the truth where peace on earth, glory to Heaven, comes from. The clear truth is that peace comes from the man of the time period. In other words, according to how the world treats the man-of-mission, peace will come on earth, and it will give glory to Heaven. Engraving this truth in our hearts, we should do our best never to make failures recur: this new history being misjudged by the ignorance of the former faith or falling into commercialism.
No matter what others say, Heaven’s hottest issue of this time period is ‘Rapture and Salvation’. This history that was built with tears based upon the 13.7 billion years of long history is the one to fulfill the original purpose of creation of the Trinity. Therefore, we should make this Day of Life so as not to forget that we have the responsibility to pass on the noble and pure Original Will of the Trinity to the future generations.
