Scale of the Ukulele
I will explain a whole tone and a half tone with the piano keyboard.
The relationship between a white key and another white key is called a whole tone.
The relationship between a black key and another black key is called a whole tone.
The relationship between a white key and a black key is called a half tone.
The exceptions are Mi and Fa, and Ti and Do, where there is no black key between a white key and another white key, so they are called half tones.
Then like the picture above, for the ukulele, the key goes up half tone by half tone from left to right. According to the fingerboard of the ukulele, a whole tone has a two column difference between keys and a half tone has a one column difference between keys.
