Putting everything I have at stake, I have left my fate to Heaven.
A single-round match determines victory or defeat, the rise or fall of one's destiny, and puts everything you have at risk. This phrase comes from a poem by [the Chinese] poet Han Yoo who recited about the Honggu Battle [in China] in which Hang U and Yoo Bang had a decisive fight. They left their fate to Heaven and put all they had at stake.
This unique history. We have met a history in which we can leave our fate to Heaven and stake everything we have within 13.7 billion years of Creation. Moreover, the history of the ‘rapture’ can take place only during the time of the Savior; then for the remaining 1,000 years, only salvation history will be fulfilled. In other words, the great history of the rapture will happen only once, and the remaining 1,000 years will be a time for salvation only. It was a message of blessing that was like a nuclear bomb. It is, indeed, an unbelievable benefit of this time period and “a reality that is like a dream”. As much as the benefit of living in the time period of the Savior is enormous, we should do all our responsibilities in this history in which we have met the time of the savior.
With Heaven’s historical consciousness
We have to have “historical consciousness”. It’s been almost 40 years since Providence history has been fulfilled on earth. However, we have only celebrated the anniversary of its establishment a few times, perhaps three times? Or have we already celebrated the fifth anniversary? In any case, we haven’t celebrated the rest of the anniversaries. We haven’t done that because we lack historical consciousness. It is a very serious problem.
As people who are running the history at the time of the savior, we should make a lot of memories being with the Savior and make events that will be continuously celebrated for a thousand years. I think now is the time we should focus on making those events because they will make realities within this history. If we think about the very short time we have left with the Savior, we may need to do only the things that will last a thousand years.
We should start doing new works that we can do and believe are possible and valuable to do. I truly believe that the actions we take according to historical consciousness will make miracles, bring grace, and give us the power to make and move history. At this time of the Savior within the thousand year history, as the few members at the time of the savior, we should fulfill our mission of following him.
Take the opportunity of Heaven.
The fully blooming cherry blossoms that covered Tokyo were a sign of the historical miracle of the Japan tour. However, now they are all gone without a trace. Time makes all the difference. We surely know that the cherry blossoms in Wolmyeongdong will soon fall.
The most beautiful moments of our lives that will allow us to have the opportunity to live in the Golden City will instantly disappear. Let’s hurry and tightly grab the greatest resurrection, “rapture”.
