South Korea in deeply grieved
With a ferry having sunken in the coastal waters of Jindo, South Korea is in deeply grieved. People boasted about going to the Moon; however, we are so limited in reaching to the boat that is below a dozens of meters the surface of the ocean. As the Chinese saying goes even if you are an emperor, you cannot avoid going to the bathroom. Human beings have clear limitations.
Nevertheless, this accident is not just caused by human limitations. We must be sure whose responsibility it was. It seems natural that those who are in charge of the ferry but left the passengers behind are getting blamed for not doing their responsibilities.
Show deeply rooote characteristics of human being: people who are running away, looked out for others, and looked after their own benfits.
A person who is in charge should stay in the very front when people face danger and should stay until the end when people must get out of a dangerous situation. I believe that a person who does not have this mindset, shouldn’t be in charge. When I was young, I was a platoon commander. I used to ask myself, “Can I die for my platoon if we are in danger?” I asked this question not because I had a mentality of sacrificing myself for the sake of my country but out of responsibility of having “green insignia” on my shoulder.
There were heroes who did their responsibilities until the point of death in the Jindo ferry accident. There was a crewman who could possibly have escaped from the ferry by rescue ship, but he called his wife and told her his children’s education savings account information and, staying at the site to save one more person, is now missing. There was a friend who gladly gave his own safety vest to save his friend, and a father who gave his safety vast to save his child. This great tragedy has been on the news of other countries that report this accident in a sarcastic manner, but there are countries that send their prayers and promise their unlimited support.
Even at this time of such a tragedic situation, conmen sent SMS phishing messages as if it is breaking news regarding the sunken ship to get their fill of food. There were people who left their work to help relief activity at the site. They clearly show people’s various characteristics.
The deep-rooted nature is planted deeply in us.
When God created human beings, He clearly indicated human’s limits, and yet He planted deep-rooted nature in us. He gave us the deep-rooted nature in which curiosity about the unseen world, the hope for the eternal world, the deep-rooted nature of loving someone/something deeply and of being deeply loved by someone. He relied on our unlimited free will for how to use the deep-rooted nature to solve those problems.
With this curiosity, human beings can search for the amazing world of the Creator and at last reach to Heaven or use it to enjoy and add to the physical pleasures. People can use the nature of fierily loving someone or something only for themselves or sublimate the love to the greater love for others and Heaven. Therefore, the reason that God neutralized the value of the deep-rooted nature is that God did not want human beings becoming like Marionette string puppets.
Learn the deep-rooted nature of the Trinity who are the owners of fiery love.
The facts of which we can be sure are that the Trinity wanted human beings to realize Them who are the owners of fiery love and who give unlimited love by looking at the Sun that was created before mankind. Also, the Trinity made us know that They created the Moon and keep mankind safe even at night without changing. What do they really want us to know? Through the deep-rooted nature and all creations, They want human beings to know that we “ourselves” are eternal, and They want human beings to search for the Trinity who are the eternal counterpart of love with curiosity and understand Them. In the end, They want us to live with the Heaven only with fiery love.
They speak to us eloquently and clearly. Let’s realize and be thankful for being created us as amazing supreme creatures and the true “counterpart” and “partner” of the Trinity. Each one of us should surely be a perfect counterpart of love of the Trinity.
I sincerely pray for peace to the victims of the sunken ferry in the coastal waters of Jindo.
